There is a possibility for you to get an interest-free Crisis Loan to help with essential cost after a disaster or an emergency, for example, fires, floods, etc. The amount is not specified so it depends on the circumstances that you have. You do not need to be on benefits in order to apply and you will only repay what you borrow, and if you are on benefits, the loan can be repaid from the benefits payments.

Payment is made within of few hours or sometimes even quicker, depending whether you collect money from the Jobcentre or it is being transferred into your current bank account.
